Bry Sand Ice Arena International Inc. offers International Consulting Assistance for ice arena floor construction and completion. We offer design assistance assessments for Owners or Consulting Teams in two formats:

Non-Site Representation

• During the pre-construction phase, our consultants will provide a review of project design drawings and specifications, as well as a complete analysis with advisements as to design intent and operational expectations.

On-Site Representation

• During the pre-construction phase, Bry Sand Ice Arena International Inc. will provide design review and design assist with on-site supervision for product selection, as well as overseeing the construction team prequalifications and the implementation of QA/QC program. Additionally, our consultants will supervise the complete installation and provide a final report for project compliance purposes.

Non-Consulting Engagement:

Bry Sand Ice Arena International Inc. welcomes telephone calls to answer questions assisting project managers and owners with troubleshooting, operational issues or pre-construction questions related to design.

International Floor Construction Successes:

• International Olympic Committee and World Curling Federation

Bry Sand Ice Arena International Inc.worked in tandem with the International Olympic Committee and World Curling Federation on the redesign and reconstruction of the Olympic Curling Rink Facility in Gangneung City, South Korea for the 2018 Winter Olympics. Bry Sand Ice Arena provided design consultation and site-related supervision, as well as delivery of a final project report confirming assembly met Olympic standards.

• Speed Skating Oval, Trondheim, Norway

Bry Sand Ice Arena International Inc. provided post construction review and an opinion report for the project. The purpose of the evaluation was for project specification compliance and assurance to Owner operational procedures would not be compromised.

North American Market

With a depth of customers and projects in North America, Bry Sand Ice Arena International Inc. has provided numerous reports for municipalities requiring an assessment of existing refrigerated floors, including analysis of refrigerated slabs and expected longevity.

In many instances, the reports focussed on either immediate problematic concerns of the operating system of the existing ice arena floors or for the life expectancy of existing facilities and capital budget forecasting.

In addition to pre-construction and existing ice arena floor consulting, Bry Sand Ice Arena International Inc. has provided ice arena floor assessments for insurance purposes after natural flood damages caused by excessive overland or rising nearby river waters. The use of these assessments is to confirm if water flooding caused damages to refrigerated floor systems.

Bry Sand Ice Arena International Inc. continues to provide 3rd party peer review of design drawing and specifications on behalf of Professional Architectural or Engineer firms engaged in new or retrofit projects with a variety of municipalities.
